OUR FOCUS
Our project focuses on reaching out to 9/11 rescue and recovery workers who may continue to feel the impacts of the loss of peers and/or the stressful conditions of that unique work.
HOME GROUND Services Are Available To Construction Workers, Correction Officers, Court Officers, FDNY, FDNY EMS, HealthCare Workers, MTA, NYPD, PAPD, Volunte EMS, Volunteer Firefighters.

HOME GROUND is outreach and support program for World Trade Center rescue and recovery workers and their families. Our mission is to create opportunities for rescue and recovery personnel who worked actively on 9/11 and its aftermath to come together with their peers to share experiences and discuss their current and future needs or those who want to meet with a professional one on one.
A wide variety of activities are available which are hosted by peer volunteers. Professional staff is also available to assist those who seek additional support to find quality services.
A major priority of HOME GROUND is to earn the trust of all uniformed service workers by providing respect, delivering quality services and safeguarding the privacy of all participants.
